China Daily view of Afghanistan

The Chinese view is similar to that of American progressives. 

Hamid Karzai recently held a conference in Afghanistan asking for four more years of intenertional uspport. We assume US militray support could end then.

Karzai also wanted more control of international aid, a common ploy of corrupt government leader that would assure the Afghan population would never see any of the aid., but Karzai's relatives would become wealthy.

Direct aid to the Afghani people is more effective  han aid provided to a government that is considered indirect. It is also an ineffective way to help a suffering people.
