75th anniversary of Social Security

Rigtardia agrees with speaker Pelosai. We shouldn't weaken Social Security to pay for tax cuts for the affluent or unpaid wars that started during the Bush administration.

The Social Security (SS) system needs reform by changing the manner it is taxed to spread the tax burden to the affluent by eliminating the $108,500 cap.

This cap has made the FICA tax regressive that has been borne by the middle class since the inception of the SS program.
