Ford ready to post record annual profits

July 26: When the economic downturn hit the car industry hard, U.S. automaker Ford rejected government bailout money.

Now it is reveling in its success, with Ford CEO Alan Mulally saying that its growth is likely to create more jobs. Ford in ready to post one of its largest annual profits ever with a 15 per cent increase in profits.

The new 2011 Explorer is built upon the Ford Taurus chassis.

The new Ford Explorer also has a 4 cylinder with the fuel injected Eco-boost engine. Rightardia doubts that type of people who bought Explorers in the past would want a 4 -cylinder engine.

As the Zen Master said, "We will see."
