BP management will either try to sell the company or go into bankruptcy in the next month. The Obama administration will be left holding the bag.
Wal Mart will start to purchase gasoline form the Chinese for their gas stations.
This is why Americans can count on the government over corporations. When the corporate going gets tough, corporations fold and declare bankruptcy.
