Alan Grayson: The War is Making You Poor Act--HR5353

Grayson shows the true cost of war. By cutting additional $159 billion funding for the Iraq and Afghan War, every American can get the first $35,000 of everyones income excused by income tax.

Libertarians should love Rep. Grayson for this act. The US spends as much as defense as the rest of the world combined.

Grayson's plan will also reduce the deficit by $16 billion. Why is such outrageous defense spending necessary?

Grayson's timing is good because a certain Afghan general who asked for the additional funds is about to be fired! Democrats need more out of the box thinking like this to win in 2010.
