Florida urologist Tells Obama Supporters to find a new doctor

Democrats are upset with Dr. Jack Cassell for posting an anti-Obama sign in his window. The sign asks patients who voted for Obama to go elsewhere.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that the doctor, who considers the national health-care overhaul to be bad medicine for the country, posted this sign on his office door.

“I’m not turning anybody away — that would be unethical,” Dr. Jack Cassell, 56, a Mount Dora urologist and a registered Republican opposed to the health plan. The doctor told the Orlando Sentinel,  “But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it.”

The sign reads:

“If you voted for Obama … seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years.”

Estella Chatman, 67, of Eustis, whose daughter snapped a photo of the typewritten sign, sent the picture to U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, the Orlando Democrat who riled Republicans last year when he characterized the GOP’s idea of health care as, “If you get sick, America … Die quickly.”

She said her friend did not want to speak to a reporter but was dismayed by Cassell’s sign.

“He’s (the friend) going to find another doctor,” she said.

Cassell may be walking a thin line between his right to free speech and his professional obligation under the Hippocratic oath, said William Allen, professor of bioethics, law and medical professionalism at the University of Florida’s College of Medicine.

in addition. Central Florida around the I4 corridor voted Democratic in the last election. This doctor could easily lose more than half his patients for his outburst. This sign appears to represent the GOP health care plan for America which is "Get lost, it's my way or the highway. "

You know who uses the services of a urologist a lot? Old people.

I'd bet dollars to donuts this jackass is receiving a pile of Medicare and Medicaid money.

Is there any legal way to stop him from receiving even one dollar in taxpayer money? (I think he'd be out of business in a month.)

He will probably lose his Democratic clients over this outburst.
