I don't know how it would compare to the MiG-1.42 that the Russians built, but decided not to produce. It seems to have some design elements in common with it though. They had said that the 1.42 would be faster, more maneuverable, and as stealth as the US F-22 Raptor, and that's probably true. This one is probably more capable than the Raptor would have been, because Lockheed got the government to drop the specs for what had to be on the Raptor while keeping the price the same. Nice how American business works, just not for MOST Americans. You can bet this one has; 1) World's best air-to-air radar. 2) World-beater air-to-air missiles. 3) Is probably at least as fast as, and 4) Quite a bit more maneuverable than the Raptor.

I worked in air intelligence many years ago and was always impressed with the Russian aircraft. it will be interesting to see what the Russian's field for a stealth aircraft. The Russians are also ready to
introduce a new main battle tank, the T95. Thank you for you comment.
