Little sympathy for Baptist missionaries jailed in Haiti

Watch CBS News Videos Online

Several of the Rightardia staff have had contacts with evangelicals and fundamentalists. Most of them are undereducated and beleive the US is a Christian nation and that God's Law trumps US law.

Rightardia doesn't know what God's Law is, but we do know that US legal traditions are descended from English common Law.We also know one of the 10 commandments says: "Thou shall not steal."

The missionaries tried to remove 33 'orphan' children and many of these children have parents.

Accoroding to Russia Today, the city in the Dominican Republican that the missionaries wanted to relocate the children is nortorious for pedophilia. See http://rightardia.blogspot.com/2010/02/russia-today-ten-evangelicals-arrested.html

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. These missionaries were guests in Haiti and their efforts to move Haitian citizens across the border into the Dominican Republic without papers indicates bad judgement and is also suspicious.

By the way, Haiti uses Napoleonic legal code.  This means the missionaries are guilty until proven innocent.
