Apparently Jeb Bush wants the hard right wing conservative, Marco Rubio, to beat Charlie Crist in the Florida Senate primary.
The Florida unemployment rate is 11.6 per cent for a state that used to weather recessions well. That was before the Republicans took control of the state for the last 12 years.
If Crist had rejected the stimulus funds, unemployment would be worse and more Floridians would be eating in soup kitchens. The stimulus also provided more federal funds for food stamps.
