Apparently Joe Lieberman is still smarting over being defeated in the Democratic primary in Connecticut. He proposed expanding Medicare and Medicaid three months ago and then reversed himself. Harry Reid even consulted with him on the recent Medicare option.
The Democrats would be smart to change the Senate rules and use the nuclear option to remove the filibuster. The should then kick Lieberman out of the Democratic caucus, take his chairs away and marginalise him.
Enough is enough.
