From THE HUFFINGTON POST:
The George W. Bush Institute — the “action- oriented
think tank” that is part of Bush’s Presidential Center — will
co-produce a public television show hosted by its executive director,
Ambassador James Glassman, in a rare convergence of public broadcasting
and a partisan research organization.
“Ideas in Action” will premiere in February and will be co-produced by Andrew Walworth, who produces PBS’s “Think Tank.”
Because we all know how Chimpoleon always surrounded himself with geniuses. Of course,Chimpy was never a person who believed in extensive thought or analyses.
As Newsweek had told
us, Bush “still trusts his gut to tell him what's right, and
he still expects others to follow his lead.”
One might have thought
Bush would have learned by now to view the gut
checks with some suspicion—but then, that would be asking the president to
rely on evidence and experience to make conclusions.
Again many Democrats have suggested that Bush lacked insight which is another word for intuition. The Major, our international affairs editor, has met other conservative leaders like Bush in the federal government. Most didn't want to be confused with the facts. Their motto was 'my way or the highway.'
