New Republican Loyalty Oath

This is interesting loyalty oath because the word 'oppose' prefaces six of the 10 items. This indicates the GOP is the Party of No and lacks a proactive agenda.

The GOP is applying the Reagan principal that eight of ten times must be supported in order to be a true Red Republican. One of the items on the list, the Defense of the Marriage Act, has been overcome by events since it has been ruled unconstitutional in federal court. If it is appealed to the Supreme Court, it is unlikely to survive a Supreme Court review.The Democratic Party is too big for a Boy Scout Oath.

Now you know why the Democrats are The Party of the Big Tent.
