BYU advances in MWC tournament despite extensive foul play from New Mexico's Elizabeth Lambert.
One of the Rigtardia staff was a youth soccer coach and he indicated Lambert should had at least three Yellow Cards and one Red Card and been evicted from the game long before it ended. Either two Yellow cards or one Red card will lead to a player being booted for a soccer game.
The pony tail incident was clearly a Red Card as was her hit on an opposing player between the shoulder blades. Tackling from behind is also illegal in soccer and she should have gotten at least a Yellow Card.
Where were the referees? BYU beat New Mexico, 1-nil. Lambert has been suspended from the New Mexico team and cannot even practice with them.
