MAKS 2007 air show: KA-52 Alligator

Rightardia comment:  The Major saw Russian helicopters in Egypt during Bright Star military exercises. At that time the US was trying to convince Egypt to invade Libya.

He was impressed with the Mi-8. The Russian chopper was very quiet. It could be right on top of you before you would hear it.

One of the most powerful and agile fighting helicopters in the world puts on quite a display. This is one of the few helicopters in the world that doesn't use a tail rotor. The armor-plated beast KA-52, aka The Alligator, wows the crowds at the MAKS International Air Show.

My, what big teeth you have!
