Republican Playbook to defeat public health care

GOP pollster Frank Lundt came up with four points on May 6 in a 28 page memo. This strategy is that public health care is:

1. Government takeover
2. by Washington bureaucrats
3. who will ration your health care
4. and get between you and your doctor

Of course, the government view is

1. The private system doesn't work and costs twice as much
2. that is operated by corporate bureaucrats
3. who deny health care especially if they can prove you have a 'pre-existing condtion'
4. and get between you and your doctor. The government will be a honest broker.
