Uh, oh: Mitt Romney didn't win Iowa

Who won Iowa? 

Rightardia heard right after the Iowa caucuses that Santorum had actually won Iowa by 20 votes.

There were inaccuracies in 131 precincts and results form 8 precincts were missing.

The Santorum win is incredible because he campaigned the old fashioned way throughout the state form a pickup truck while Mittens dropped a $700,000 advertising money bomb in Iowa.

Michele Bachmann to drop out of primary race

This Christian soldier bites the dust

Michele Bachmann finished with 5 per cent of the Iowa vote while her evangelical competitor, Rick Santorum, finished with 25 per cent. Santorum was 8 votes shy of beating Mitt Romney who dropped $700,000 on the primary election.

The IA results suggest there isn't a great deal of enthusiasm for Romney .

Santorum has yet to be vetted and there is plenty of material to attack him with. He has made numerous gaffes.Rightardia thinks that Pastor Mike Huckabee from the 2008 primaries was a far better candidate that Rick Santorum will ever be.

Santorum's evangelical family values platform won't work with independents and Democrats in this economy.

Rightardia noticed that Bachmann had cancelled several campaign events a few days ago and did not appear to be heading to SC.

So good riddance. Politifact rated Bachman as tops with false statements and pants on fire lies. Don't hit your head on the way out, Michele!

The other Evangelical, Rick Perry, is also dropping out. He has some gray matter issues. Being from TX didn't help either.

Jesus gave those drop-outs  their just rewards.

Iowa Rep. Steve King Steve King Says "Growing Dependency Class" Is "Not As Productive" As The Rich

Last night on the House floor, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) discussed his view on those he calls the "dependency class."

KING: They [Pelosi and Obama] were working on their vision of America which is transfer payments, tax the rich, transfer those payments to other people that aren't as fortunate, or I—I'll say not as productive, they may not be as fortunate.

While this is going on, the deficit was growing, a dependency class was growing and that was what was going on . . .

King is evoking Reagan's "welfare queen" image which is  disproved stereotype.  King believes those who depend on the federal government are lazy and choose to receive federal assistance.

King also referred to the affluent as the most productive members of society which at best could be described as a GOP value judgement.

Yet, one in six American lives in poverty and until recently the GOP had never extended their  welfare rhetoric to the unemployed. Unemployment compensation is actually an earned benefit an employee receives from his or her employer.

Some of these citizens in his own state include:

The 6.3 percent of Iowans who are currently unemployed because of the financial collapse and sluggish economic recovery.

The 6.8 percent of Iowa workers who are paid at or below minimum wage, who may not have the choice to get a better paying job.

The farmers in King's congressional district that received $216,634,812 in federal USDA farm subsidies in 2009, the 12th highest in the country.

The 513,929 Iowa senior citizens in 2010 dependent upon the federal government for Medicare.

Why do 'dumb Republicans' want to be president?

McCain's Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, attended five colleges in six years working on a BA degree. She has proved to be quarrelsome, unstable and a quitter.

Santorum—whose last name is used by some as extremely vulgar slang [gay sex act]—will be following in the footsteps of numerous other potential presidential hopefuls in the GOP who have traveled to the campaign staging ground.

Politico reports that "Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, House Minority Conference Chair Mike Pence (R-Ind.), former New York Gov. George Pataki and, before admitting his adulterous affair, Nevada Sen. John Ensign," have all visited Iowa. Ready for another campaignepic?
