Respect is a two way street

Rightardia had to laugh after the bi*** slapping Joe Biden gave Paul Ryan.  The right said:

Why the veep’s rude chortles during last night’s faceoff constituted a new low in debate etiquette . . .

Never mind the endless racial slurs and offensive graphics that attacked the president because of his African American heritage.

Never mind the rude comments about black Americans getting "off of the plantation."

And never mind the incredible disrespect shown to Hispanics and women.

Turnabout is fair play. If the "Party of No"thinks being rude will win elections, they found out the hard way that it doesn't work.

Fox News church lady pettiness

Joe Biden made some clips for Jeopardy which Fox and Friends mocked.

anyone who knows about Joe Biden is aware that he a long term senator from Delaware who worked hard.  Biden was someone who did not use his political influence for financial gain.

If Biden has a yellow Corvette, more power to him. He deserves it!

InfoWars: Ron Paul Warns of False Flag Attack

Published on Apr 28, 2012 by

Ron Paul:

I'm always worried about false flags . . .

We have to learn to distinguish war propaganda from the truth.

The Wayne Madsen report warned about this months ago. Imagine a submarine from a third party that was retrofitted to electronically spoof an Iranian sub.

What if the sub launched a torpedo against one of the US carriers near the Strait of Hormuz.

The Buzz | Tampa Bay Times: Joe Biden on the GOP playing hide the football

Joe Biden spoke in St. Petersburg recently for a fundraiser:

I have never seen a time in my lifetime when Republicans haven’t tried to hide the ball, to use a sports metaphor - when they said they were ‘compassionate conservatives. We care about health care. We must preserve Medicare,’ etc. They’re not hiding the ball any more at all, guys. God bless them, they’re saying exactly what they believe. This is going to be the starkest choice the American public is going to make in a long, long time.

Bill Maher wanted 'gangsta jokes' from Obama

Bill Maher recently stated,
"I thought when we elected a Black president, we were going to get a Black president. You know, this  is where I want a real black president. I want him in a meeting with the BP CEOs, you know, where he lifts up his shirt where you can see the gun in his pants [saying]:
"'We've got a motherfu*king problem here?' Shoot somebody in the foot.
Maher thought he would be making 'gangsta" jokes about Obama at this point.

Rightardia agrees with Maher. Instead of a 'gangsta,'  we got Mr . Rogers.

President Obama and vice president
Biden, "Won't you be my neighbor?"

WH Blog: A Living-Room Discussion with Middle Class Families

Posted by Jared Bernstein on September 28, 2010 at 6:52 PM EDT

Yesterday, Vice President Biden visited the home of Bob and Lorie Cochran in Manchester, New Hampshire for a discussion on the economy and other issues that are important to middle class families.

The Cochrans were kind enough to host a small group of their neighbors and other families from Manchester.

You might have seen the President leading similar discussions over the last few weeks – it’s all about hearing directly from the American people about how things are going on Main Street and the concerns they’re facing as they sit around their kitchen tables.

We’ve been calling these events “backyard discussions,” but the weather didn’t cooperate yesterday.  It started raining as soon as we arrived in New Hampshire, so we all had to move inside to the Cochrans’ living room.

Fortunately, the grim weather didn’t put a damper on our conversation.  After some brief opening remarks by the Vice President, we launched right into a great discussion, with the audience asking about the steps we’re taking to create jobs and get our economy moving again.

The Vice President took the opportunity to discuss our agenda for creating jobs, including more tax cuts for small businesses that want to expand and hire, infrastructure investment to build on the momentum of the Recovery Act, preserving tax cuts for the middle class, making college more affordable, and reducing health care costs while protecting health care consumers.

As you’d expect in a political season in a highly politically engaged state, other questioners asked about the upcoming midterm elections.

And on that subject, Vice President Biden stressed the stark choice voters will face on November 2: will we continue moving forward, building on our economic progress, making sure that insurance companies and banks are playing by the new rules of the road, and pursuing a policy agenda focused on the prosperity of the middle class?

Or will we hit reverse and go back to the failed, discredited economic policies set that got us into this mess?

Will we rescind and repeal the progress we’ve made to end abuses by insurance companies and big banks, stop rebuilding America’s vital infrastructure, and go back to slashing taxes for millionaires and billionaires with no regard for the fiscal consequences?

From where we stand, the choice is clear.  Vice President Biden ended the conversation by stressing just how high the stakes are, and how important it is that every American citizen stays engaged in this debate in the weeks ahead.

From what I could tell as I looked on from the kitchen, no one disagreed.

Biden On Russian Spy Swap: 'Rush Limbaugh offered to Russians'

BURBANK, Calif. — Vice President Joe Biden had to convince a skeptical Jay Leno that the United States didn't get a raw deal in the biggest spy swap since the Cold War.

Leno asked Biden Friday during a taping of "The Tonight Show" why the U.S. was sending 10 accused spies back to Russia while getting only four in return.

"That doesn't seem fair," Leno said.

"We got back four really good ones," Biden reassured Leno. "And the ten, they've been here a long time, but they hadn't done much."

Leno then showed a sultry photo of alleged Russian agent Anna Chapman and asked: "Do we have any spies that hot?"

Biden's reply, in a mock-serious tone: "Let me be clear. It was not my idea to send her back."

The vice president also said he had one more suggestion for the deal that was ignored.

"I thought they'd take Rush Limbaugh," he said.

The spy exchange took place earlier Friday on an airport tarmac in Vienna.
Story continues below

On Friday, Leno jabbed Biden for his tendency to make very public gaffes, pointing out an open-microphone expletive Biden uttered when Obama signed health care legislation in April.

Biden said he warned Obama before taking the job.

"I told the president two things when he asked me to do the job," Biden said. "I said, 'Just two conditions, Mr. President. I'm not going to wear any funny hats, and I'm not changing my brand.' And I kept my promise."

Once again the Democrats prove they are the party with a sense of humor.

The White House Blog: Tax Refunds Are Up 10%

Posted by Macon Phillips on March 22, 2010 at 1:09 PM EDT

Thanks in large part to tax benefits in the Recovery Act, taxpayers are seeing larger refunds from their 2009 tax returns this season -- according to the IRS, average tax returns are up by almost 10 percent this year.

While these tax return averages are interesting ... the question you're probably asking is "Do I qualify for any of those benefits?" To help you get answers, we've launched an interactive Tax Savings Tool to help you understand which Recovery Act tax benefits you should include in your filing.

Check it out: http://www.whitehouse.gov/recovery/tax-saving-tool

This morning, the Vice President talked about the benefits for taxpayers on the Today Show (video):

The big guys know all the credits and deductions to claim during tax season, but we want middle class families to know just how much is out there for them this year thanks to the Recovery Act – and how to take advantage of it. From help with college expenses to credits for cost-saving, energy-efficiency home improvements, these Recovery Act tax credits not only provide some needed relief for working Americans, but also help them invest in their families’ futures.

Here is a quick run-down of some key tax benefits available thanks to the Recovery Act:

o Making Work Pay: 95 percent of working families are receiving the Work Pay tax credit of $400 for an individual or $800 for married couples filing jointly in their paychecks in 2009.

o College Expenses: Families and students are eligible for up to $2500 in tax savings under the American Opportunity Credit.

o Purchase of First Home: Homebuyers can get a credit of up to $8000 for first homes purchased by April 30, 2010 under the First Time homebuyer tax credit.
o Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Incentives: Taxpayers are eligible for up to $1500 in tax credits for making some energy-efficiency improvements to their homes.

o New Vehicle Purchases: Taxpayers can deduct state and local sales taxes or fees for vehicle purchases under the vehicle sales tax deduction.
o Expanded Family Credits: Moderate income families with children may be eligible for an increase under the Earned Income Tax Credit and the additional Child Tax Credit.

o Unemployment Benefits Tax Free in 2009: the Recovery Act made the first $2400 of unemployment benefits received in 2009 tax free.

The Recovery Act’s tax benefits of nearly $300 billion are not only providing some relief for middle class families, but also helping to jumpstart the economy and create more clean-energy, manufacturing, and construction jobs. To learn more, visit Recovery.gov.

New Rule: A-hole in One Shouldn't Be Obama's Game

Friday, August 14, 2009

New Rule: President Obama must give up that awful habit that sets such a bad example for young people. I'm talking, of course ... about golf.

Golf, if you're not familiar, is a pastime where you basically walk outdoors with a bag, muttering and cursing. It's like being homeless in loud pants. Anyway, Time magazine is reporting that since he became president, Barack Obama has taken up golf with a passion, playing almost every weekend for the past few months -- and I feel betrayed.

He campaigned as a basketball player. It said to us, "I'm urban and athletic and hip and a team player." Golf says, "I like Lipitor and white collar crime." And it's not just golf -- he's been purposefully eating a lot of hamburgers in public lately, to prove he loves meat.

And he said that, unlike before he became president, he prays all the time now and that his Faith and Neighbor Initiatives Director sends him scripture on his Blackberry to start every day. Jesus, is there something about that house that turns people into assholes?

I kid the Commander in Chief, he's very far from an asshole, he's a cool dude, and I want to keep him that way! I don't want a regular guy running the country. We tried that for eight years and New Orleans still smells like mildew.

Obama was different. He wasn't Joe Six-Pack. He had a six-pack. And when he gave a speech it didn't make English teachers cry. He wasn't some regular schmuck who spent five hours a weekend on the golf course. Why? Because he actually likes his family!

But Democrats have this bad habit of letting the Republicans scare them into acting more "regular guy" than they really are, and then they look inauthentic. Like Hillary drinking shooters. Like Dukakis in the tank. So I'm putting you on notice, Barack Obama: you're from Chicago, the day I see you in a duck blind, I'm taking my hope elsewhere.

So that's why I'm so worried when I see my president playing golf, because golf is a slippery slope. First comes the golf attire, then the golf stories and pretty soon you're telling black jokes. What's worse is that you know Obama doesn't really wanna be golfing, he's just doing it because he thinks it will relax the white people.

"How could I be a socialist, I'm putting!" Well, I've got news for you, Mr. President, the people who think you want to kill their Great Aunt Millie aren't going to be swayed by a photo-op on the golf course. They see those photos, they're not thinking you're just like Tiger Woods, they're thinking, "Here comes the Angel of Death, and he's got a nine iron."

There is also a more serious side to this, because golf, hamburgers, and religion are all things that are incredibly bad for the environment. According to the U.N., in 15 years almost two billion people will be living in conditions of absolute water scarcity.

And yet, a golf course in Palm Springs consumes as much water per day as an American family uses in four years. Golf courses in America consume over 114 million gallons of water a year on grass that doesn't even get you high. Golf courses also need large quantities of fertilizers and pesticides whose run-off pollutes the ground water for miles around.

This isn't just a third world problem -- there's a water shortage right now in the western United States. If I surpass my monthly water allotment here in Los Angeles, I'll get fined by the city. If I do it twice, they'll send 40,000 prisoners to live in my backyard.

But when it comes to bad for the environment, nothing -- literally -- compares with eating meat. The business of raising animals for food causes about 40 percent more global warming than all cars, trucks, and planes combined. If you care about the planet, it's actually better to eat a salad in a Hummer than a cheeseburger in a Prius.

There was a news story last week about the U.S. military warning America that the ripple effects from global warming inspired disasters could kill millions of people, but none of them can moonwalk, so nobody gave a shit.

But if this "planet" problem is so dire the military is saying they're going to have to start dealing with it, maybe the president should set a better example about how we just can't live exactly as we always have and survive.

I'm certainly not suggesting that we "take away" your golf or your hamburgers, but when it comes to being a role model on the environment, this president is out to lunch. With Joe Biden, eating greaseburgers.

Which is a shame, because he and his wife have demonstrated enormous power to lead by example. What they do, Americans want to do, because they're stars, and we're star-fuckers!

And, like I said last week, we're not very bright, so we need direction -- if Obama grabbed Biden for lunch next week and ordered a veggie burger -- yes, Sean Hannity will call him a mincing fairy, like he did when Obama used mustard instead of ketchup -- like I ever knew one was more manly than the other.

Stop caring what Sean Hannity and Sarah Palin will say about you. Be who you really are - a basketball playing, Jay-Z listening, city-dwelling hipster. The only sand trap I want to see you get out of is Afghanistan. And next time you have to get two guys over for a beer, smoke a little weed.

Guests on this week's program include Brad Pitt, Dana Gould, Ashton Kutcher, General Anthony Zinni and Ross Douthat.
