Sen. Rand Paul on Friday announced the new Senate Tea Party Caucus.


GOP Sens. Jim DeMint (S.C.) and Mike Lee (Utah) will also be in the Senate Tea party Caucus. Both will go back to the future with the Kentucky libertarian Republican

Rightardia hopes they are the only members of this misguided conservative group.

Tea Bagger senatorial candidate is a fascist

FAIRBANKS, Alaska This is  the blurry snapshot that captured local online journalist Tony Hopfinger slumped in a chair in the hallway of an Anchorage middle school, with his hands cuffed behind his back.  

He was illegally apprehended by private security forces hired by Republican candidate, and Tea Party favorite, Joe Miller. The private security forces are believed to associated with the armed services.

Hopfinger was “arrested” after he tried to ask Miller some questions at a public forum.

A judge has ruled that an Alaska borough must release personnel records from Senate Republican candidate Joe Miller's time as a government attorney.

Several news organizations sued for the information. The Daily News-Miner reported Saturday that retired Superior Court Judge Winston Burbank says the public's right to know outweighs Miller's right to privacy.

NYTimes.com: Tea Baggers are hard right ideologues

While most Americans blame the Bush administration or Wall Street for the current state of the American economy, the greatest number of Tea Party supporters blame Congress.

They do not want a third party and say they usually or almost always vote Republican. The percentage holding a favorable opinion of former President George W. Bush, at 57 percent, almost exactly matches the percentage in the general public that holds an unfavorable view of him. According to CBS news, Bush left office with a 22 per cent approval rating.

It is clear these people represent the losers in the 2008 elections. The Tea baggers are made up of ditto heads and other far right extremists.

Oddly, the Tea Party supporters said they did not want cuts to Medicare or Social Security — the biggest domestic programs. This is probably because most of the Tea Baggers represent the Baby Boomer generation who are receiving the benefits of these two federal programs.

The want the government to focus on “waste.” Certainly fraud is a big issue in Medicare which represents a $60 BILLION THEFT FROM TAXPAYERS. Health and Human Services and the Justice Department now have seven Medicare fraud prosecution strike forces in place — in Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, Detroit, Brooklyn, Tampa and Baton Rouge. Medicare fraud is a big problem in Florida. 

Since the first strike force office opened in Miami in March, 2007, the strike forces have indicted more than 460 individuals and organizations for allegedly billing the Medicare program falsely for more than $1 billion. Fifty nine billion to go!

The useful idiots of the right wing

It's very clear the right either doesn't understand modem world history or the are denying the reality that the Nazis and their fascist brothers were right wingers.

The term 'National Socialist' is an oxymoron because the Nazis were nationalists and German supremacists. They eliminated the socialist and intellectual part of the party, the SA, during 'The Night of the Long Knives.' Socialism is an international movement that has never embraced racial supremacy.

Clearly the Birthers, the Deathers, the Astroturfers and the Tea Baggers are acting like fascists and many on the far right like the 'ditto heads' are true fascists. Noam Chomsky has pointed out in his his books that at the US has taken over the role or the right wing super power after the Germans were defeated in World War 2. This explains the GOP priority on national defense that has morphed into pre-emptive war that is identical th the Nazi blitzkriegs in WW2. The suspension of habeas corpus, torture, secret prisons, manipulation of the judicial system and death squads are all features of fascism.
