Newt Gingrich pretty much won South Carolina with his defiant aggressive answer to John King's question about Newt's second wife's claim that he wanted an open marriage.

But now the Gingrich campaign admits the candidate lied about providing witnesses to ABC. Not good as he slides in the Florida polls behind Mitt Romney.

Gingrich's is surging in South Carolina at just the right time forcing Romney to make Florida his firewall.
