Newt Gingrich killed in the last Republican debate before the South Carolina primary on CNN, calling the opening question about his second wife's claim that he wanted an open marriage "as close to despicable" as it gets. Gingrich's is surging in South Carolina at just the right time forcing Romney to make Florida his firewall.
