Allen West Heckled, Heckler Arrested

Allen West is a bonafide war criminal who should have served time at Fort Leavenworth and then gave been dismissed by the US Army for mistreating a prisoner in Iraq.

He is an unapologetic fascist.

Huffington Post: Allan West makes a catachresis

Rep. Allen West, arrogant war criminal wonk

Catachresis is the misuse of a word; an application of a term to something which it does not properly denote.

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) made one today. The freshman Republican drew historical analogies between current times and pre-World War II Europe, comparing Democrats to Neville Chamberlain and his fellow appeasers.

Of course, Obama and the Democrats did not agree with the House bill and told the Republicans to "go fish!" This is hardly appeasement.

The congressman’s office had the following statement placed in the Congressional Record with respect to the stopgap measure, also known as the “Department of Defense Appropriations Bill.”

Mr. Speaker: Will we be Chamberlain or will we be Churchill? Neville Chamberlain, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom between 1937 and 1940, will forever be known for his foreign policy approach of appeasement. Prime Minster Chamberlain, even with Germany’s increasing aggression in Europe, turned a blind eye to the impending danger and did not prepare his nation for war.

Winston Churchill, who saw the dark clouds approaching, was looked upon as an alarmist at the time, even though he saw the true danger. Churchill stated: “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.”

Mr. Speaker: I once again will not be feeding the crocodile. I once again will not be voting for yet another Continuing Resolution. However, having spent 22 years in uniform, having served on the battlefield in defense of this nation, I will be voting for the Department of Defense Appropriations bill in order to support our men and women in uniform. Our nation is involved in two conflicts and our President has now involved us in a third. It is my constitutional responsibilities to provide funding for the service members in uniform who are defending our nation both at home and abroad.

Some would argue that comparing World War II to the debate on the budget for Fiscal Year 2011 is not an appropriate comparison. However, I would argue that Winston Churchill was prepared to lead his country courageously, in the way that would ensure England’s future. Today we are also faced with the question of protecting America’s future.

First of all, both Neville Chamberlain and Winston Churchill were conservatives.  Chamberlain was concerned as much about the Reds as he was the Nazis and the his 'appeasement' was based on calculated cynical politics based on current historical thought.

Second, who is being appeased? Did the GOP think this cheap trick of extending the continuing resolution one would week would work if they tied it to the armed services? It's the domestic economy that is suffering not the armed services. Why should people in uniform be excluded from sharing the pain?

From Rightardia's perspective, Speaker Boehner  is trying to appease his Tea Party caucus.  Boehner knows the GOP will lose big if the government is closed own.

If the government is closed, it is because the congress was unwilling to compromise with the Senate and the President. The Congress is not in any position to dictate terms to the Senate or the President.

Like it or not, the Democrats still control the federal government.

Congressman's West comments are not only unhelpful they are a a catechises, a bad metaphor. Did you expect more from a war criminal?

A special coexist bumper sticker for Congressman Allen West

Allen West claimed during a town hall meeting during his campaign that people who display the popular "Coexist" bumper stickers are traitors.  See the graphic that follows . . .

According to West, the coexist bumper stickers which use various religious symbols as letters are used by

those who would "give away our country" and "our rights and freedoms and liberties because they are afraid to stand up and confront that which is the antithesis, anathema of who we are."

Bullets v. Ballots

Joyce Kaufman has been active on South Florida talk radio for nearly 20 years without interruption. She started on the original WFTL, 1400AM.

She is an outspoken critic of the "new-left" and thinks America is a failed state populated with a helpless, ignorant people in need of reeducation and government rescue.

She is also sick and tired of those in power who are afraid to stand up for their nation's Judeo-Christian values . . .
Joyce Kaufman and Allen West

Joyce Kaufman quit as United States Congressman-elect Allen West’s Chief of Staff.

The appointment by West of the conservative commentator angered many in the 22nd Congressional district, due to highly divisive statements she made on air.

After West announced she would be his chief-of-staff, Kaufman said:

I am convinced that the most important thing the founding fathers did to ensure me my First Amendment rights was they gave me a Second Amendment. And if ballots don’t work, bullets will,” she said, some things were “worth dying for.

Rightardia has noted that Allen West is a bona fide war criminal who was fortunate he was not dismissed from the Army for his human rights violations in Iraq.

West, who had completed almost 22 years of active service, was charged with violating articles 128 (assault) and 134 (general article) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

According to Wikipedia, West was participated in an Article 32 hearing in November 2003, where he admitted he was wrong to fire the pistol at an innocent Iraqi detainee and was fined $5,000. LTC West accepted the judgement and retired with full benefits in the summer of 2004.

Allen West: Total and complete rightard

The Huffington Post | Nick Wing First Posted: 01- 3-11 09:18 AM | Updated: 01- 3-11 09:18 AM

Incoming Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) explained this weekend that he hadn't learned anything from his initial decision to pick as his chief of staff a conservative firebrand radio show host with a history of inflammatory statements.

"Well, I think first of all what you saw was an attack from the left against Joyce Kauffman and there are some other issues with that, but they did not play the full clip of her speech when she gave that, I think it was the 4th of July," West told Fox News Sunday.

So once again, it was the editing sound biting. And I didn't learn anything from it, because you just adjust and you continue on. So Joyce Kauffman was a very instrumental and helpful person in our campaign and she was the one that interviewed my current chief of staff because she knows the good match.

West has since replaced Kaufman, a Florida commentator who had notoriously advocated for the hanging of illegal immigrants and said "if ballots don't work, bullets will," with Washington insider Jonathan Blyth.

West blamed the criticism on both "racism," as well as "sexism and misogynist behavior" by the liberal media, a line of reasoning that West appeared content on continuing on Sunday. He also continued his own attack on Democrats.

Host Chris Wallace  asked West if he was willing to stand by his comments that the "liberal, progressive" agenda was "tyrannical, socialist, despicable," West responded that he was.

West is a bona fide war criminal. Why the Democratic party was not able to defeat him in the last election is a mystery.

Democrats have an opportunity to attend the counter-town halls

Republican challengers across the country have found a new way to roil emotions surrounding congressional health care town hall meetings.

Driven by intense voter interest in the topic, the almost-certain promise of media coverage, GOP candidates in state are holding their own health care town halls.

Florida Republican Allen West, who is running against Rep. Ron Klein (D-Fla.), said his Deerfield Beach town hall meeting earlier this month drew several hundred local residents.

Michele Bachmann also held one of these counter town halls and she was heckled by Democratic protesters.
