Intrade: Simple Rick in denial in PA

Rick Santorum:

We are going to win Pennsylvania.

We need to win Pennsylvania.

Yes, Simple Rick thinks a victory in his home state will result in a dramatic shift in the in the GOP primary. 

Dream on! The reality is that Simple Rick will lose all credibility if he can't win his home state.

Rightardia never thought this religious fool was a real contender. We are amazed it took this long for Mittens to put him away.

AHNC: No apology needed for Quran burning

Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum criticized President Barack Obama’s apology for the burning of Qurans in Afghanistan. Simple Rick says that Afghanistan should apologize to the U.S. for the deaths of four U.S. soldiers during six days of violence sparked by the incident.

Santorum seems to be mixing up cause and effect.

Never mind the fact hat the US invaded Afghanistan and should have left by now. Al Qaeda has been neutralized and Osama bin Laden is dead.

So, Santorum will put more of our troops in harm’s way by saying it’s OK to burn the Quran, no apologies needed.

This is the best the Republicans can come up with?

You could say Santorum is Old Fashioned. But it might be more precise to say he’s Old Testament. Women don’t have rights, they’re baby tunnels for Christ. Birth control is immoral, prenatal testing is depraved and gay marriage is an abomination. And anybody who campaigns in a sweater vest obviously knows a thing or two about abominations. DU: Rick the rightard gets some bad news

Rick the rightard is also calling for a constitutional amendment to ban same sex marriage. Santorum said in Olympia, WA:

I think it waters down marriage and I don’t think that’s what we need. We need to have a national consensus on this, a national debate. I believe we should move forward with a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman. 

Americans that are homophobic care about LGBT politics. Santorum appears to think the US is still in the 1990s.

During CPAC, the GOP found out that even Young Republicans have little interest in restricting marriage for LGBT people.
