Romney has become petty and bitter. He knows he has lost the election. Perhaps attacking the president is good for his self-esteem under the circumstances.
Rightardia has heard some younger people say that Obama is exactly like GW Bush and cite the Libya insurgency as an example.
The Libya conflict was planned by NATO, not the US. The US had a supporting role and most of the air missions were conducted by France. This war was a multi-national effort while GW Bush's Iraq war enjoyed little multi-national support and that is the reason it was so expensive.
Libya took less than a year to prosecute, while Iraq took more than 8 years.
Rightardia thinks comparison between the two conflicts is apples and oranges.
The US provided logistical support to a successful NATO operation.

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama decided he could continue the air war in Libya without congressional approval. His decision ignored legal advice from Justice Department and Pentagon lawyers.
One issue was reported to be whether firing missiles from drones amounted to hostilities.
The Al Jazeera report, first broadcast on Sunday, indicates the foreigners are British special forces (SAS). NMA reported weeks ago that Libyan rebel farmers had captured some UK SAS soldiers.
The British press that SAS soldiers are acting as spotters in Libya to help Nato warplanes target pro-Gaddafi forces.
In March six special forces soldiers and two MI6 officers were detained by opposition fighters when they landed in Benghazi.
The group were withdrawn and a new “liaison team” was sent in their place.
Discussing the situation in Libya with Fox News's Greta Van Susteren, Sarah Palin said, "I haven't heard the president state that we're at war. That's why I too am not knowing -- do we use the term intervention? Do we use war? Do we use squirmish? What is it?"
BTW, skirmish is not a military term that is commonly used. Contingency would be a better word than skirmish.

Libyan rebels are advancing west towards the capital Tripoli after further gains in the east of the country. They claim they've regained control of several strategic oil towns from pro-Gaddafi forces. Meanwhile, NATO's ready to replace the U.S. in leading the coalition's campaign.
A new battlefront has broken out in Libya, but this one involves news channels FOX and CNN. It began after a FOX correspondent accused CNN's Nic Robertson and other reporters on air of being duped into acting as human shields for the Libyan regime of Colonel Gadaffi.
Robertson then hit back, accusing FOX of lying about not sending a reporter on the trip and calling their correspondent 'lazy'.

The President says that thanks to our men and women in uniform, the military mission in Libya is succeeding even as responsibility is transferred to our NATO allies and partners.
Rightrdia suggest Obama did it correctly. The Libyan operations had been planned for months and the US got all of the big NATO allies except Germany involved.
Obama got a UN resolution and kept the miliatry action low key. NATO is now patrolling the "no fly" zone.
"The joint military action by the Western powers against Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi's forces is tantamount to an undeclared war against a sovereign nation."
China has some major investments in Libya and had to evacuate thousands of Chinese workers from the country.
The world will be better off without Qadaffi, but the end does not justify the means.
No matter what President Obama does regarding Libya, it seems, Glenn Beck is determined to bash him for it.
On today’s edition of his Fox News show, Beck said of Libya, “If I would have told you a year ago that France would lead -- that France would be the one that says, ‘You know what? I’m tired of waiting around. We’ll send our planes, and we’ll bomb.’ And America would say, [crying noise]. Would you have believed that a year ago?”
Then, exactly 20 seconds later, Beck said: “
America is involved in the third front. If I would have told you four weeks ago that America may now be involved in a war -- in a third war in a third Muslim country in the Middle East, would you have believed me? I believe I did say words similar to that right over there, that it would sweep, destabilize, and drag us all down. We’re in a third war, a third front. God help us all if it all boils over in Libya.
Rightardia thinks that Obama handled the Libyan crises correctly.We could have run in where angels fear to tread and alienated the entire Arab world. Libya is fundamentally a European/NATO issue rather than a US issue.
We could have taken leadership and spent a boatload of money like we do when we have a Republicans president. Rightardia salutes the president for showing restraint and working with the the EU and NATO behind the scenes.
Beck' reversal on Libya is an example of sophistry. A sophism is a specious argument used for deceiving someone.
A sophist will take any convenient position to win an argument and a sophist has no central political philosophy.
Rightardia hopes Gadhafi's nurse she writes book about her adventures with the eccentric dictator. Moammar Gadhafi is supposed to be deeply attached to her.

Seif al-Islam Gadhafi told reporters Thursday that the Israeli-Tunisian dual national was not a spy. He also corroborated the man's story that he was in the country to photograph heritage sites connected with Libya's vanished Jewish community.
Gadhafi would not say how many Palestinians were released as part of the deal for Rafael Haddad, who was freed Sunday after five months in jail.
Lieberman thanked Libya, saying that it "behaved responsibly" on the matter and called Libya's demands in exchange for Haddad's release "reasonable" and "logical."
In exchange for Haddad's release, Israel allowed the cargo of a Libyan-sponsored aid ship to enter the Gaza Strip in July and for Libya to construct 20 buildings for Gaza residents.
Lieberman said that the secret negotiations for Haddad's release were "not simple."
Haddad, who holds dual Israeli and Tunisian passports, arrived in Vienna late Sunday after spending five months in a Libyan prison. He was arrested by local Libyan police in March while photographing a building that once belonged to the Jewish community in Libya.
