NMA TV: George Zimmerman arested

Special prosecutor Angela Corey has charged George Zimmerman with second-degree murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

Corey's decision finally brings to Sanford, Florida, what his family had long desired: court justice for their son.

Police had refused to arrest Zimmerman, who claimed self-defense. But the facts of the case and Zimmerman's claims will now be tested in a court of law.

Until now, much has been speculated but little confirmed about the minutes before a young life was taken.

A court trial will bring justice. It will give prosecutors an opportunity to prove whether a murder took place. And it will give Zimmerman an opportunity to defend his innocence.

America was a source for division around the world, that what we were doing was wrong."

Of course Santorum denies he was about to say what it sounds like he was saying, just as he did back in January when he was caught on tape saying he didn't "want to make black people's lives better by giving them other people's money." He later said that the whole world was mishearing his statement, that he meant to say "blah" people. Riiiiiight....

This law would force every woman seeking an abortion, without her consent, to undergo an ultrasound. Since the majority of abortions are performed in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, this will mean that they will be subjected to vaginal penetration with an ultrasound probe, against their will. This is equivalent to enforcing state-sponsored rape, in an effort to manipulate (and punish!) women seeking abortions.

NMA: Kim Jong-Il death creates uncertainty

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il is dead. State media reported the Dear Leader died on Saturday due to "great mental and physical strain" while on a "high-intensity field inspection."

News of Kim Jong-il's death prompted a great outpouring of public grief, though North Koreans could hardly be expected to display any other kind of emotion in the tightly managed Stalinist state.

Kim's son, the 20-something Kim Jong-un aka the Bright Leader, is the heir apparent. But the younger Kim is not secure in his power and the elder Kim's death could result in a dangerous power vacuum in what is arguably the world's most dangerous flashpoint. This could  potentially embroil China and the US in a military confrontation in the Korean Peninsula.
