The Venezuelan President has met with Russia’s leaders in Moscow, to hammer out agreements ranging from nuclear power, to arms trade and oil production.
Chavez also pushed Venezuelan exports of chocolate and bananas.

Outrage over US policy in Latin America
US policy seems to be sending shock waves throughout Latin America. The United States has a deal with Colombia to escalate its military presence in the country, and this is not going over too well with South American leaders.
Rightardia would expect Hugo Chavez to buy more arms from Russia in response. Venezuela may purchase T-72 tanks from Russia.
