Flyinureye: Does big hair make you presidential?

Newt has the hair of a hyena, Palin the coiffure of a mama grizzly and Trump's hair looks a bit like the coat of a  Wolverine.

Well, at least they aren't bald although there are rumors Trump may be in need  of a Bosley hair transplant.

OMG, Palin said that in India?

Sarah Palin suggested Republicans would have fared better in 2008 if she had been the messenger of change for the GOP. Palin said:

I wasn’t at the top of the ticket, remember?

Speaking at the India Today Conclave in New Delhi, Palin was asked why Republicans were unable to defeat Barack Obama in 2008.

Palin told Aroon Purie, editor of India Today that Obama portrayed himself as the change candidate, and that things might have gone differently had she been the GOP’s presidential candidate.

As for 2012, Palin again said she had not decided on a run:

I don’t think there needs to be a rush still to get out there as a declared candidate.

Gag me with a spoon! Palin never ran in the primary and was an 11th hour draft pick for the VP spot. Few people knew who she was until John McCain drafted her for the number two spot.

I would imagine John McCains' ears are burning and people in the RNC are gagging.

After all, the RNC motto is "My Honour is Loyalty." Republicans have no use for people like Palin who aren't team players.

Republicans clone a presidential candidate

New GOP presidential hopeful, Strom Pagean

We had heard though a special RNC contact that attempts to reanimate Ronald Reagan were unsuccessful. The Zomby Ron project has been abandoned.

However, using DNA from Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin, the RNC was able to create a chimera named Strom Pagean (pronounced pa-gan).

Political observers say Strom is a gay man is his late 40's who will appeal to Log Cabin Republicans and GOPROUD.

Strom like to be in front of the camera and say "progress is our most important product." He wants to visit California and Alaska as soon as possible.

Sarah Palin third party candidate?

January 31st, 2011

By Daniel Tencer

Nearly half of Palin backers may flee the GOP if she isn't nominated

A new poll from Rasmussen released Monday reported that Sarah Palin's
divisiveness as a candidate may pose a serious problems for the Republicans in 2012 presidential election.

Nearly half of likely GOP voters who support Palin said they would switch to a third party candidate if the former Alaska governor and current Fox News personality win the GOP presidential nomination in 2012.

Fully 46 percent of Palin backers said they were likely to vote third party if Palin lost. Another with 22 percent saying it's "very likely" to vote third party.

Palin and Prejean: Conservative martyrs

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is defending Miss California USA Carrie Prejean with her typical conservative BS. The Baghead Coalition of anti-RNC conservatives didn't give Palin much of a vote of confidence when she finished seventh on a list of future GOP presidential contenders. When Palin went rogue during the McCain campaign, she violated her Republican Party loyalty oath. Disloyalty is considered a mortal sin in the GOP.

Prejean created a stir at last month's Miss USA pageant when she tactlessly said she was raised that marriage should only be between a man and a woman. It was a loaded question, but a proper Miss USA is supposed to be able to handle the tough questions. Prejean showed her evangelical skirt when she answered the question with a thud that showed little imagination. It is always possible, too, that Carrie was raised 'wrong,' but her mother appears to have been recently dating another woman.

The former vice presidential candidate says in a statement, "The liberal onslaught of malicious attacks against Carrie Prejean for expressing her opinion is despicable." That is certainly wrong. The First Amendment gives everybody the right to express their opinion. It also gives the public the right to lampoon a beauty contestant who talks like an ideological parrot.

Questions about her work with gay marriage opponents and semi-nude photos taken of Prejean when she was a teenager had put her title in jeopardy, but pageant owner Donald Trump decided to let Prejean keep her state crown. The Donald lost his cojones with his decision that was not businesslike. “The Donald” is now a corporate eunuch.

Palin says she respects Prejean for staying true to her beliefs and can relate to her "as a liberal target myself." When you run for office with views that are far form the American center, what do you expect, Governor Palin, when you loot department stores form 'coast to coast?'

In addition, Plain was supposed to speak to the annual joint fund raiser for the National Republican Congressional and Senatorial Committees. Last Saturday night Palin was told she would not be allowed to address Republicans. She did show for the dinner, but did not speak.

The reason given for the snub, said a Palin aide, was that NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions was that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, the fund-raising gala’s keynoter, did not want to be upstaged.

It is tough when you are a conservative martyr. Prejean and Palin appear to be birds of a feather.
