Screaming Birther Interrupts GOP House Reading of the Constitution on House Floor

If the GOP wants to waste time by reading the US Constitution, why not? A screaming “birther” in the gallery interrupted the reading of the US Constitution. when Jim Himes started to read the 14th Amendment on US citizenship.

The outburst was first reported in this tweet by Rep. Jim Himes (D-Ct), which read “First interruption of the reading from the gallery. By a birther, screamed about Obama. "Unintended consequences….”

The House sergeant-at-arms  removed the rightard.

the GOP should read the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation, too. Why not read the treaty of Tripoli and the CSA Constitution as well? The latter would make southerners feel at home.

Hawaiian GOP governor on the Birther Conspiracy

The Republican Hawaiian Governor, Linda Lingle, said:

The birth certificate issue] is simply a distraction from the more critical issues that are facing the country. . . . And so I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health. . . .

The president was in fact born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that’s just a fact. And yet people continue to call up and email and want to make it an issue. And I think it’s, again, a horrible distraction for the country by those people who continue this.

. . .It’s been established he was born here. . . . I can understand why people want to make certain that the constitutional requirement of being a, you know, natural born American citizen … but the question has been asked and answered. And I think just we should all move on now.

NewsMax: Dobbs left CNN because he was told to stay away from Birther stories

CNN President Jonathan Klein told Dobbs' staff in a memo to stay away from so-called "Birther" stories about doubts that Barack Obama was really born in the United States. CNN had confirmed that this was a dead story that they had investigated and found to be false. Rightardia suggests CNN gave Dobbs good advice. The Birther movement has gotten absolutely nowhere in the courts.

NewsMax is suggesting Obama needs to release the long form of his birth certificate, but there is no legal basis for Obama to do this. The State of Hawaii has released the short form and confirmed the long form is in order. The courts have rejected the Orly Taitz legal arguments because a standing president can only be removed from office by impeachment in the House and conviction in the Senate.

Rightardia believes the Republicans are just being nosey and to make matters worse it is alleged in a court affidavit that Orly Taitz committed adultery with one of the members of her legal team. Taitz has also received an order to pay the court $20,000 for a frivolous Birther lawsuit. Rightardia  believes Taitz will be disbarred in California for legal misconduct.

What Birthers really beleive

This is what Orly Taitz and the Birther community really believe. They are unable to accept that a black man is president of the United States. Their views reflect a lack of respect for the President of the United States. The Birther Movement is primarily fueled by racism that is the basis of a lot of conservative irrationality.

Birther movement is dead

When Orly Taitz produced the fake Kenyan birt certificate, it produced a death gasp among Birthers.  Ton DeLay tried to resuscitate the Birther corpse, but it was too late.

The Republicans sent investigators to both Honolulu and to Kenya with the purpose of disqualifying Obama from the presidency. They were not successful.

In the US you are innocent until proven guilty. Obama is under no obligation to produce his long form birth certificate to prove his innocence. His innocence is assumed under US law.
