How about a nice punch in the middle class gut?

This idea would really help the middle class, wouldn't it?

It would be akin to having your leg amputated for an ingrown toe nail.

Sometimes life imitates art

The rumor was that Donald Trump was going to fire an Obama impersonator during the Republican National convention.
.
Perhaps the impersonator backed out and that is why Clint Eastwood ended up talking to a chair.

Either that or a technical malfunction in which a virtual Obama holograph couldn't be projected onto the chair. The convention production was supposed to be high tech.

Rightardia felt sorry for Eastwood who is 82. We don't think he will like to be remembered this way. If the GOP wanted a raging conservative, Chuck Norris might have been a better pick.

Did Mitt get to be the King of the One Per Center by fibbing

One writer says Mittens has told 533 lies in the last 30 weeks. These are not assertions, interpretations or allegations. These are facts, actual instances that are documented.

Romney’s pollster, Neil Newhouse, said:

We’re not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers.

This is a curious approach to politics for a former Mormon bishop who was believed to have integrity earlier in his career.
Is Mitt disingenuous? See what you think about this quote.
I'll take a lot of credit for the fact that this industry's come back.

Mitt wrote a New York Times op-ed in 2008 titled "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt," in which he said if GM, Ford and Chrysler got a government bailout "you can kiss the American automotive industry goodbye."

If anyone knows what Mitt did to save the auto industry, Please drop Rightardia a line. We would like to know.

Is Mittens super-ficial?

But he likes to wear police uniforms.

He's a very kinky guy
The kind you don't take home to mother
He will never let your spirits down
Once you get him off the street, ow girl

He likes the boys in the force
He says that I'm his all-time favorite
When I make my move to his room it's the right time
He's never hard to please

{Refrain}
That guy is pretty wild now
The guys a super fish
The kind guy you read about
In NewsMax magazine
That guy is pretty kinky
The guy's a super fish
Super-Ficial

WIN: Workers Issues Need To Be Addressed By Politicians At Both National Conventions

Liz Shuler, AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer
8/29/2012

By Doug Cunningham
As the national political conventions are staged and the presidential election campaign kicks into high gear AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Liz Shuler says economic justice for working families must not be ignored.
She says public policies that help working families goes way beyond the political.
Liz Shuler added:
It’s not about politics. But we need the politicians to really hear us, lifting up again the right to a quality education, the right to a secure retirement and a healthy future, saving the middle class – not only preserving it but so it thrives.
Shuler says the Second American Bill of Rights – a workers’ Bill of Rights – is being delivered to both political conventions.
Shuler noted:
We are going to be delivering the Workers Bill of Rights to both conventions. And we hope that they will raise these issues in their platforms and on the floor so the delegates know that working family issues need to be a part of this process and can’t be ignored.

There are some Republicans who are friendly to labor, particularly during an election. For the most part, Republicans have been anti-labor since the late 19th and early 20th century.

GOp has a new lyin' king

Apparently, the GOP thinks it can still fool the public in this Information Age with Internet media, blogs, Twitter and Facebook pages.

According to TPM, Obama has already won the election. This conclusion is also suggested by data from  the Intrade Predictive Markets and the Nate Silver 538 blog.

Mittens didn't get much of a bump form the Republican National Convention unlike John McCain who pushed ahead Obama for a couple of week until Bible Spice imploded

Paul Ryan VP acceptance speech set a no low mark for political dishonesty

Paul Ryan's speech contained many exaggerations and outright lies.

1. Ryan accuses Obama of closing down the GM plant in his home town.

The Truth: The GM plant closure was announced in June of 2008, when George W. Bush was president. Barack Obama took office in January 2009.

2. Ryan Claims Taxpayers Got Nothing Out of the Stimulus.

The Truth: The stimulus added 3.3 million jobs, cut unemployment by 1.8%, and grew GDP by 4.1%. Nothing is what the country got when Ryan and his fellow Republican obstructed the American Jobs Act.

3. Ryan Accused Obama of Putting the Federal Government in Charge of Health care.

The Truth: What would a Republican gathering be without a hat tip to the ugly step child of death panels? Obamacare doesn’t federalize health care. In fact, it does the opposite.

As FactCheck.org pointed out, “The health care law does set new minimum benefits packages, but that’s more a matter of coming between patients and their insurance companies, rather than patients and their doctors…he health care law doesn’t come close to establishing a government-run system like those of Britain or Canada.

4. Ryan Blames Obama for The Nation’s Downgraded Credit Rating.

The Truth: S&P blamed the downgrade on the political dysfunction caused by the Ryan led House on the debt ceiling,

In short, Ryan is blaming President Obama for a crisis that he helped manufacture. If anyone is responsible for the downgrade, it is Paul Ryan and his fellow House Republicans.

5). Ryan Hints that Obama is a Socialist.

The Truth: Ryan’s sly nod to the right wing talking point that Obama is some sort of secret socialist hides the fact that this president is the biggest tax cutter in American history. This is a president whose biggest policy achievement is a health care reform that will give private sector health insurance companies millions of new customers. Obama is a lot of things, but he is definitely not a socialist.

Well, what did you expect from a snarky frat boy?

Governor Jan Brewer endorses president Barack Obama (huh!)

The top You Tube comments on this gaffe were funny:

This is why you shouldn't drink when you have important stuff to do.. I mean if there was a list of thing NOT to do at the RNC, "don't endorse the President" would have to be up there.

Less than 30 per cent of national debt created by Democratic presidents

The Republican National Convention has been trying to convince Americans that Democrats have created huge national debt problem.

Paul Ryan doubled down on the Sarah Palin lie tonight by making wildly inaccurate claims about the debt accumulated under President Obama.

Ryan wrongly said that the debt had grown more under Obama than "all those other presidents combined."

It is clear from the graphic that most of the national debt accumulated during Republican presidencies.

This is like the Fox who has been guarding the Hen house who was been chased away by a dog.

The fox wants back in the hen house by claiming it was really the dog who was eating the chickens.

It's the GOP who is the fox that needs to be kept out of the White House!

Only 27.4 per cent of the national debt was created when democratic presidents were in office.

Three way civil unions likely if a Mormon is elected president

Published on Aug 29, 2012 by

Should a three-way marriage be allowed? A notary public in Sao Paulo, Brazil, has sparked controversy by allowing two women and a man to enter a civil union. Could formal marriage rights be far behind?

Public Notary Claudia do Nascimento Domingues said the trio should be entitled to family rights. The female-male-female grouping have lived in Rio de Janeiro together for three years and share bills and other expenses. The civil union would help protect their rights in case of separation or death of a partner.

But religious groups are angry, saying the civil union shouldn't be allowed to stand. Globo TV reports the civil union was formalised three months ago, but only came to light this week.
If Mitt Romney is elected president, these arrangements will become common in those states with large Mormon populations.
