New Florida redistricting maps changes

The Senate proposal splits Pinellas county into two

The Congressional plan is a good example of text book gerrymandering

Pinellas and Hillsborough counties end up in three different US congressional districts. South St. Petersburg is conveniently lobbed off of Republican Rep. Bill Young's congressional district.

In December 30, the Senate Reapportionment Committee published proposed committee substitutes for the congressional and senate maps originally published November 28 and filed December 6.

Yep, both plans suck and are unlikely to survive a court challenge.
