Hysterical raisins: GOP backing off of voucherizing Medicare


Due to attacks from the left and increasing unease on the right, House Republican leaders plan to relaunch their proposal to turn Medicare into a privatized voucher program.
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), who is scheduled to deliver a "that's not what I meant" address at the Economic Club of Chicago on Monday.
Frat boy Ryan's Medicare plan may have dashed his chances for a Senate seat. He announced today he will stay put in the House.
