Governor Rick Scott responds to Lawsuit filed by Senators Altman and Joyner

Tallahassee – Gov. Rick Scott issued the following statement in response to the lawsuit filed today by Senators Altman and Joyner regarding high speed rail.

My position remains unchanged, I’ve yet to see any evidence that Florida taxpayers would not be on the hook. Senators Altman and Joyner’s disrespect for taxpayers is clear by their lawsuit trying to force the state to spend this money.

Rick Scott doesn't seem to comprehend a vast majority of Floridians want high speed rail.  Senators Altman and Joyner’s disrespect is for grifter-governor Rick Scott, not Floridians.
