Grifter-gov. Rick Scott's BS on Bloomberg

Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Florida Governor Richard "Rick" Scott discusses his proposed fiscal 2012 budget, which includes $4.6 billion in spending cuts.

The first-term Republican faced a $3.6 billion deficit when elected. He campaigned on a promise to cut spending and taxes.

He speaks with Betty Liu on Bloomberg Television's "In the Loop."

What Scott doesn't say is that Florida  hasn't really changed much in the past decade because the governor's mansion and the statehouse have been controlled by the GOP.

For 2010, economic stress occurred in states with heavy concentrations of real estate workers.

Nevada was again by far the most troubled state with the second highest Stress score and was followed by Florida according to an AP study.
Florida unemployment is at 11.6 per cent making it number three in the nation.

According to RealtyTrac, Florida is number three in the nation for foreclosures.

In Florida's one in every 18 homes received a foreclosure notice.

Scott tried to blame Florida's ills on Obama, but the real culprit is the state GOP.

The state was never ever to restart the tourism industry after gas prices sky-rocketed during the Bush's era.

Yep, Florida had the other Bush as governor.

How the Republicans were able to sweep the 2010 elections in Florida is hard to explain.

Rightardia believes the Citizens United decision was partly to blame, but poor leadership at the state and local levels was a big factor. Many Democrats were exhausted for the Obama campaign and the incredibly long health care battle in Washington.

Florida Democrats should have been running an anti-incumbency and anti-corruption campaign, but they didn't.
