Joe Rogan: The American War Machine

This is a nine minute video, but it is worth watching. It has a terrific opening.

Rightardia believes the decline of American education started in the 1980's with the anit-tax mantra of the GOP and Reaganomics. The spouse was forced out of the home to make ends meet and the kids were ones who suffered.

This is also why teenage drug use and pregnancies skyrocketed. Mom was not longer at home to supervise.

After the GOP let the genie out of the bottle, it has tinkered with US education for more than a decade trying to fix it with FCAT tests, charter schools, vouchers, Edison schools and so forth in Florida to no avail.

Until mom or dad can make enough so one spouse can stay home and help their children with their homework and also make sure the work gets done, American education will continue to decline as a recent OECD report has shown.

Many stupid Americans think war is good for the economy, but it isn't. Some economists think 90 per cent of more of the deficit was caused by excessive defense spending during past wars.

A recession almost always follows the end of a war and unemployment rises as the soldiers, seaman and airman return home and are discharged.

right now the Afghan war is costing the US about $ 2 billion per week. Imagine spending that money in the us on the infrastructure rather than blowing up Afghan villages. Rightardia saw a video this week of an entire Afghan village being bombed and destroyed. We wonder how many women an children were killed during the attack?

No doubt some rightard has the video on their web sites as a demonstration of US power.

Enjoy Joe Rogan's  video. We couldn't agree more.
