Personal Technology columnist Walt Mossberg tests Toshiba's Portege
R705, a standard-sized laptop that's lighter and thinner than the
traditional clamshell computer.
He says the pared-down laptop is
surprisingly powerful for its price tag. Toshiba has been getting great reviews from technology journalists while some other companies like Dell have seen their laptop ratings fall.
