Joe Scarborough shills with Peggy Noonan for the GOP this morning

I turned on the Morning Joe this morning and there was Joe Scarborough shilling for the GOP for Peggy Noonan, a former Republican speech writer.

Scarborough was pointing out how badly the nation needs a Republican Congress to even the Obama presidnecy out. He pointed out how the Democratic Congress helped moderate Bush.

Yes, Bush had to deal with a Democratic Congress in the last two years of his presidnecy, a fact that Scarbporogh failed to mention. Yesterday, Rightardia published data from the Gallup Organization that indicated the both Republican and independent Blue Dog Democrats are very unpopular and are dragging the Congressional approval rating down.

The Gallup data would indicate a GOP comeback in 2010 is unlikely.  Most Americans have not forgotten about the mess the GOp created on Wall street and in the Middle East. The Republicans also fell flat on their asses during Hurricane Kartrina.

America needs a Republican Congress like it needs another financial melt down. Not only no, but hell no!
