West Wing Week: "Teach Your Parents How to Tweet," 5/10/12

Published on May 10, 2012 by

Welcome to the West Wing Week, yournguide to everything that's happening at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. This week, the President traveled to Virginia and New York to urge Congress not to let interest rates double on student loans and to introduce a to do list for Congress. He also hosted the University of Kentucky Wildcats, the Fermi Science award winners, and this year's Gershwin Award Winners. That's May 4th to May 10th or "Teach Your Parents How to Tweet."

Al Jazeera: Rick Santorum's phony theology

Uploaded by  on Feb 22, 2012

Paul Rosenberg makes an interesting observation about Simple Rick:

Santorum has a pattern of making extreme statements and then taking them back under unexpected pressure. But pundits have rightly noted that these statements are a source of Santorum's strength, a reflection of what he really believes, and a sign of his authenticity - as opposed to Mitt Romney's inability to say anything that resonates as a firm conviction.

Ahead of Super Tuesday on March 6, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has caught up with one-time front-runner, Mitt Romney in the Republican primary races.

This is good news for the Democratic Party.

Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports from Washington.

WEST Wing Week: West Wing Week 100, 2/24/12

Posted by Matt Compton on February 24, 2012 at 9:00 AM EST

It's hard to believe that when West Wing Week was born, "Don't Ask Don't Tell" was still around, American troops were still fighting in Iraq, the American auto industry was on the brink of collapse, and nobody knew that President Obama could sing -- what a difference 694 days makes.

We've got a great week for you -- featuring BB King, the Boeing Dreamliner, a speech about American energy, a payroll tax cut extension, and special musical guest Keb Mo.
