Why is the Tea Party Flag yellow and have a rattlesnake on it?

I wonder when someone will write a County and Western song like these 'yellow colors don't run?'

Does the snake have something to do with Adam and Eve?

I think we all know why a conservative flag would have a rattlesnake on it.
