China Daily: US Secret Service Scandal

The right wing is falling all over an incident in Columbia that is making Europeans yawn.

What is interesting is that Obama signed a free trade agreement with Columbia, a nation that has a notorious record with unions.

Try to unionize a business in Columbia and you met get to meet some people from a right wing death squad.

Obama actually did something the GOP wanted which is the far bigger story.

Ted Nugent talks tough in front of the NRA

Secret Service investigating Ted Nugent

Ted has been a loose cannon for a long time, but his incendiary comments are not protected free speech.

Perhaps some jail time would sober this reactionary  up.

Nugent made the comments during at the National Rifle Association convention in St. Louis.

He compared Obama and his administration to "coyotes" that needed to be shot.

He also encouraging voters to "chop [Democrats'] heads off in November."

Update: Nugent told Danna Loesch,CNN contributor, that I will stand by my speech and added that he was being attacked with the


"Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals playbook.

Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdoğan manhandled by US Secret Service

Rightardia comment: Why does this always happen to people who are Islamic? 

Disagreements over security measures have reportedly led to a scuffle between Turkish Prime Minister and US President Barack Obama’s bodyguards.The Turks are some very tough people. The Secret Service might have come out on the short end of the stick if they had fought with the Turkish bodyguards.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in the US on Wednesday to attend the United Nations General Assembly and the G20 summit.

According to “Cumhuriyet”, a Turkish daily newspaper, despite long talks, security services of the two heads of states failed to come to any agreement over organizing Erdoğan’s security.

Apparently, having ran out of words, Obama’s bodyguards and their Turkish colleagues turned to close combat. Recep Erdoğan tried to intervene, but was manhandled by one of Obama’s bodyguards and kicked out of the room. A blemish on his reputation as a peace negotiator, no doubt.

No compromise was reached, and the US side didn’t allow the Turkish premier’s bodyguards to use means of communication. As a result, Recep Erdoğan had to cancel his speech at the UN headquarters and return to the Plaza Hotel.
Reportedly, the security staff of the Turkish Prime Minister was replaced after the incident.

Meanwhile, the foreign ministries of the two states have not commented on the scandalous story.

The three brothers are together again

We lost two of the Kennedy brothers to political assassinations in the same era that Martin Luther King was gunned downed. We now have Astroturfers, Tea Baggers and Birthers showing up at Obama town hall meeings bearing arms.

The security for the president has had to be tripled. President Barack Obama receives more than 30 potential death threats a day and is being protected by an increasingly over-stretched and under-resourced Secret Service, according to a new book.

Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year  that President George W. Bush received according the author of In the President's Secret Service.
