New .XXX domain for the porn industry?

Should porn sites have their own .xxx domain rather than .com? Family advocates and even some in the porn industry say yes.

This is not a new idea. It was rejected by the Bush Administration.  To be effective, the domain should be mandatory for the adult industry. This would make it easy to block adult content from homes.

Most software that filters porn and other objectionable content uses black lists that have to be updated continually to block new porn sites that are registered every day.  Many porn companies will not use the .xxx domain unless it is required by law.

Police found kiddie porn on his PC. Investigators also recovered a .30-30 rifle, other computers, floppy discs, memory cards, cellphones, a handwritten will and a painting of Adolf Hitler and Jesus that was documented in court papers.

In the car, police recovered a handwritten note that said "the Holocaust is a lie. Obama was created by the Jews." Under the writing in the notebook was the signature "James W. von Brunn.” This information was also provided by court documents.
