The GOP view of women is primarily biblical: the female should subordinate herself to the male spouse.
Some Democrats may hold this view, but many don't.
Rightardia thinks a marriage is a continuous negotiation and that stereotypes are not productive in marriage or, for that matter, any sort of a serious relationship.
