Brave New Films: Afghan War costing $2 billion a week

This war is failing. The Obama Administration is about to publish its December review of the Afghanistan War. According to news reports, it's going to cite "progress," but the facts on the ground tell a different story.

As the BNF video shows, the Afghanistan War makes us less safe and isn't worth the cost with record troop deaths and civilian deaths.

Two billion dollars is wasted per week. An insurgency on the march despite a huge troop increase. All signs point to a failing war.

See the truth about Bush's last war.

Brave New Films: Put elections back into voters' hands

Call your Representative and ask them to tell Speaker Pelosi to bring the Fair Elections Now Act to a House vote before it's too late.

You have a chance to bring sweeping, historic change to our political system by putting elections back in the hands of voters. Speak out for Fair Elections!

when the Supreme Court agreed with Citizens United, it enabled a corporate takeover of the US.

Brave New Films: Green energy can create one million new jobs

Big oil companies haven’t only destroyed our environment but they are putting Americans out of a job.

Big oil works very hard in coming up with new lies and propaganda, trying to convince you that the health of our nation’s economy depends on their well-being. You and I know they are dead WRONG!

Sign this petition to tell Congress that you want them to act on green energy solutions, and that you’ll be in their offices, at their townhalls and on their phones this summer to check on their progress!

It is up to you to spread this message with your friends and family and act today to fight back against all the lies and the propaganda peddled by the oil companies.

Brave New Films: Drill, Baby, Drill

See 'ass kissing big oil Republicans' get whipped into a frenzy by  "drill, baby, drill."

BP has caused an unprecedented environmental and economic disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.

Yet along with conservative politicians, a well oiled public relations machine and their countless and shameless lobbyists they continue to push for more irresponsible drilling and want to make us believe that what they are doing is righteous and necessary.

Enough!

We don't need more shameless media games and manipulative political agendas. What we need now more than ever is to stop once and for all our obsession with petroleum.

This is why we have launched Power Without Petroleum, a community ready to fight back against big oil interest and the politicians that serve as their mouthpiece.

Robert Greenwald's Brave New Films: Was I hired to stand in the way of health care reform?

Hi, I'm Andy and I did all the damage I could being a spokesjerk for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Now it's time to move on to the next hugely irresponsible, profit-driven monopoly. Where will Andy work next? There are always jobs for budding Nick Naylors.

New CIGNA commercial is awesome

CIGNA says they are 'A Business of Caring,' but the reality is that they are getting filthy rich by denying basic coverage, specially to those patients that need it the most.

Sick for Profit launched a contest to rename CIGNA's advertising tagline. We received thousands of great real CIGNA taglines.
With the winning tagline, we'll make CIGNA a new corporate logo, post it on Facebook, and send it CIGNA execs.
