Limbugh's apologizes after his ratings have been declining for months

Rush's ratings have been tanking for months. Media Matters documents Rush's unsubstantiated rants on a daily basis.

Rightardia stopped following Rush's ramblings because it was clear he was a shock jock that actually has little to say.

We analyzed a speech Rush made to CPAC a couple of years ago  and found it high on emotion and almost contentless.

Rush apologized today to Sandra Fluke:

My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir," Limbaugh said on his website. "I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.

Has Rush ever apologized before? Rightardia can't think of an example of when he has in the past.

Did Rush think he was being humorous when he called Ms. Fluke a slut and then implied she is a prostitute?

Rightardia thinks Rush was trying to gin up his ratings, but he lost his bearings and went way over the line.

We imagine an apology from a man who always thinks he is right was very difficult for him.
