HK Cartoons: The Right to Work states
The term "right to work" is a misnomer. It is really a law that allows scabs to defer paying union dues in a business there is union representation..
RTW laws are designed to weaken unions and the Democratic Party. These laws due little for workers who have organized.
Of course, the union has to represent the scabs who don't pay dues and these workers are often the first to run to union stewards when their bosses treat them unfairly.
