Will Newt become a third party rogue?

Gingrich will no longer run a "Republican campaign but a people's campaign."

Howard Fineman suggested Newt may believe his destiny in American history is too large and personal to be contained by the Republican political Party.

By now Gingrich realizes that he is not the favorite of the GOP establishment and may feel abandoned.

Would an ego maniac like Newt be vindictive and form a third party to take Mitt down in the general election?

Count on it.
