TBT: Florida mega-casino bill dies in committee
House sponsor Erik Fresen (R-Miami) pulled the bill from consideration.
The House committee hearing it for the first time wasn't going to deliver enough votes for passage.
Sponsors will have to wait until 2013 to try again.
There was little support for this bill among Floridians. Even the Florida Chamber of Commerce launched a campaign against the bill.
This is another of Gov. Rick Scott's bad ideas to make Florida more "business friendly" that hit the shredder.
