Tampa Bay Times: FHP trooper cleared in use of Taser

Last September Danielle Maudsley in handcuffs, bolted out the door of a Florida Highway Patrol substation.

She had been arrested in a hit-and-run case.

A dashboard video camera in a patrol cruiser captured Trooper Daniel Cole use a Taser to apprehend her.

The camera recorded Maudsley's bad judgment. She was seriously hurt during the take down and became unconscious.
