Tampa Bay Bucs lose 10 in a row

The Atlanta Falcons beat the Bucs 45-14 today for the team's 10th loss in a row,

Why are the Bucs so bad? The owners are cheapskates. In 2009, the Bucs were tied with the Kansas City Chiefs, a team that beat them this year, with the lowest team payroll.

This year they were second to last with $84 million payroll. This was the lowest payroll in the NFC South.

The team is also coached by a relatively unknown person, Raheem Morris from 2009–present, who has a 17–27–0 (.386) record.

The fans figured out early on that the Bucs were not going to be a winning team and attendance dropped. Most of the local games were accordingly blacked out on TV.

To add injury to insult, the Florida Gators also had a terrible 6-6 season after losing Coach Urban Meyer.  Most of the Rightardia staffers missed most of those games, too.

So 2011 was not a good year for Florida football. We doubt if 2012 will be much better.

Of course, we have never been big fans of American football. We prefer the sport of all time: soccer.

Update: Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris was fired today.

Rightardia thinks a lot of the Buc problems started when defensive coordinator Mont Kiffin left in 2010. Kiffin was considered to be perhaps the best defensive coordinator in professional football.
