GW Bush will be the senior pall bearer for Cheetah
WASHINGTON — Cheetah, the chimpanzee that starred in the ‘Tarzan’ films of the 1930s, died. The chimp was 80, and a favorite of GW Bush.
The former president will be a a pall bearer for Cheetah. Cheetah died at the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary in Palm Harbor, Florida. The chimp had been there more than 50 years.
Cheetah was a big admirer of GW Bush whom the chimp considered a kindred spirit. Chetah watched a TV that was 30 feet away from its cage. When Bush came on the screen, the chimp would pick up poop and hit the screen every time.
