Latest police traffic monitoring system: Cordon

Get a load of the latest in police traffic surveillance. It makes the traffic cameras at intersections obsolete.

Developed by Simicon, this new speed sensor system will take highway surveillance to new levels.

Simicon’s device can simultaneously identify and follow up to 32 vehicles across four lanes.

The Cordon will automatically generate two images: one from wide-angle view in the video and one closeup shot of the vehicle’s license plate.

Distributor Peak Gain Systems will bring the Cordon to North America the first quarter of 2012.

Big Brother is well and alive. This system is small and can be mounted on a road sign.
