Is Obama anti-business?
The GOP noise machine would like you to believe that the Obama administration is anti-business. Even Gov. Rick Scott talks about making Florida more business friendly, although Republicans held the governors mansion for 12 years before Scott was elected.
Muhtar Kent, Coke’s chief executive, said “in many respects” it was easier to do business in China. Kent likened China to a well-managed company.
Oh, the virtues of a centralized Chinese communist government: none of those two party grid lock problems.
Of course, in China a corrupt corporate official can be executed. In an Apple computer plant, nets were installed outside of windows to prevent workers form jumping out of windows to commit suicide.
Rightardia gets it: business friendly is coded GOP language for worker unfriendly. This is why Govs. Scott Walker and John Kasich have tried to end collective bargaining in their states.
